KV-99NR Airline Model		 Kool-Vest™

The KOOL-VEST™ has been designed for increased worker productivity and reduce heat stress to improve worker safety.  Fresh air is distributed through small holes in the vest to provide evaporative cooling across the worker's back, chest, and face.  The vest operates with only 10 - 20psi and will accommodate a vortex cooling tube, Air Systems Cool-Box™ or straight airline hose as pictured below.

Optional Airline Adapter for Direct Airline Attachment or Connect to our Cool-Box™

Airline adapters are available in two sizes:
Model KV-99AA25 supplied with 1/4" Hansen plug
Model KV-99AA50 supplied with 1/2" Hansen plug

 

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Double coated PVC on nylon scrim material with Velcro front closures and sewn-in adjustable belt
  • Small holes on interior of vest direct air to complete upper torso, front and rear
  • Specially designed plenum directs air to a neck ring for cool air distribution to the neck and face. A rear Velcro strip controls the air volume to the neck ring
  • Order the vortex adapter or Air Systems' unique Cool-Box™ for additional body cooling
  • Meets thermal and flame resistance tests 191 and 5903
